1 Year, 2 Months

It's the 28th! since we dont have a 31st for this month of February, its safe to say I'm 1 YEAR and...2 Months loc'd! This is a growing experience. I'm in a new place (Trinidad & Tobago), we're about to move to a New House (1.2Million Trinidad Dollars which equals a mere $200,000.00USD. The house is two stories. 3 bedrooms up top and one downstairs plus a side room under the stairs. its a gated house in a quite and small neighborhood.

I like it! And cant wait to move!
I want my own room but heres the thing: I want my room converted into a recording studio. I'm a slam poet (Rising, that is) and I need a studio to record. I seldom rap, and sing (I can sing but it needs work as far as I'm concerned) and the only way to amp myself up and be better at what I do, is for me to have my own space to record.

Now its all a matter of getting my dad to build on it. He wont rush to make my dreams happen but he'll damn sure rush to wax his truck. (He's a bit of a nuisance sometimes and I hate that.)

But! anyway, I just took some pics. They're not much. I haven't been doing much to my hair since I got here. Just kinda been letting it do its own thing. I wish it were all one length so i can throw every last loc into a bun lol or a ponytail but what can I do? I have to wait some more. I havent seen much growth since the last pics I've shown but maybe you will.

Oh and the loc I undid? I interlocked that one to get it started. That seems to be the ONLY liable way to get my hair to lock, now im just twisting and interlocking ONCE instead of four times to get it going lol. I'm kinda in a bind here because I cant get my hands on any sulfur 8 shampoo. They have all the other salon style shampoos but that one and thats the ONLY shampoo i'll use. so I guess I'll have to call my mom to ship over a few bottles lol.

here's the pic of the three starter locs:
And here are pics of supposed growth even though I dont see a difference lol:

Oh and here are the pics of that loc i undid. in order to interlock it, i had to create a knot at the end of it and crochet it. BUT since i dont have any of my crochet needles here with me, I had to use a paper clip, which, to me, was a bit more challenging but the knot made it easier to grab a hold of than the crochet hook which is used to having the loc slip from it.
