I'm 1 year and 1 month in today. my hair hasnt gone through any changes. I dont even think it's grown much either. I have some pics. You can tell me if you see any changes 'cause I dont. I'm hoping all my locs get shoulders length. thats the length I want it at at the moment. :) I havent had anything longer than shoulder-length hair since BEFORE the perms. This was BEFORE 1997 so imagine how long it's been.
I'm hoping with this new transition of locs, I can achieve shoulders length and then bra-strap. I cant take anything longer than that. my hair at the back is touching my neck and making me hot so I'm not experiencing what a fully loc'd person goes through with hair that makes them hot lol.

You remember that one loc I undid? Well here it is. It wasn't loc'in by me just twisting it and leaving it alone. it'd stay coiled and it was like that since I undid it. SO i had to interlock it to get it to start locking.
I have two other "Starter locs" that have just stayed coiled. I've been trying to twist it but thats all it does - stay coiled. I want that to grow out a bit more so I can start interlocking those as well but my hair is so friggin soft:
